So this isn't quite study abroad related but I just felt like blogging (at 1:40am) because, you know...its the perfect time of the day to blog! Also, I went to the museum a couple of days ago (not today) but if you overlook those two *minor* details, everything is just fine and dandy.
Anyways, I was supposed to visit BSGE (that's my high school) that day but that ended up not happening. Instead, Daniell and I decided to go to the Museum of Natural History. Why? Well, because we could.
Sidenote: I was trying to convince him that we should go to the Museum of Mathematics at first. Its fun (imo -- don't judge), its interactive, aaaand its for like 6-10 year olds. But what did I care? I would have just blended right in anyways. Obviously, I wasn't very good at convincing though. Maybe I should take a negotiations class. I still kinda want to go.
Anyways, we walked so much that day and I'm pretty sure we went to every. single. hall. (except for the special exhibits) and by the end of it, we were both tired, hungry, and cranky. Or at least I was because I had been running on 3 or 4 hours of sleep. I have so much trouble sleeping nowadays. I didn't even know that was possible for me! Here's a few pictures I took at the museum. We tried astronaut food (ice cream) and stared at a whole bunch of motionless things behind a glass. Yay! Jk -- all sarcasm aside, it was pretty fun. Also, I found the fish toy that Haru has in Return of Superman and am thinking of getting it for my little cousin's birthday! Too bad theres a world shortage of helium.
