We had our first Italian course today for 2 hours and it was actually pretty easy and fun.
Surprisingly, I am in the "level 2" class, which I have no idea how that happened, but it is still beginner basically so thank goodness.
Anyways, on to the more interesting stuff.
We all went to the Heart of Rome (that is just what I want to call it) after we signed up for the extracurriculars (which I signed up and paid for so many including cooking class, wine tasting, films, theater augustus show thing, etc).
Today was to be our church hunting day which became more of a discovering tons of churches and a McDonald's.
...
I mean we heard that there is actually a super fancy McD around here which makes me laugh, but this was not it.
Still, like wtf it was so expensive, but somehow it was so delicious.
(prob cause we were all so hungry)
I have not had McD in years, but you know...FOR SCIENCE :P
...
Finding it was a struggle, because we saw signs showing how to get there, but it was so hard.
We almost got run over multiple times because we were in an area that should be for pedestrians, but the drivers were just like woop dee doo and driving there.
We literally were face to face with these vespas and cars and even the driver starting laughing as we looked like paniced foreignors lost in the streets.
Anyways
...
We got like something called a sharebox that consisted of 5 mozzarella sticks, 5 pizza pocket like things, 5 chicken nuggets and 2 "free" sauces. I guess ketchup ain't free here...
They have beer, cappuccino, and brioche too plus other random stuff.
...
This whole McD thing happened after exploring the church, but whatever.

The church was beautiful.
The outside is like whatever and to the right, there were some ruins,
but the inside was absolutely gorgeous.
Note: You need to cover your shoulders and legs before entering as well or you may be denied entry. Common knowledge for some and was for me too, but you know...
They had like this John the Baptist's head sculpture along with the pendulum while talking about Galileo and just some other cool stuff. The glass in the ceiling was like a galaxy and just gorgeous.
My explanation sucks...
which is why I took some videos.
Unfortunately, I got no video editing stuff, so I am just going to upload them to youtube as usual and put them onto here clip by clip since uploading takes forever.

After the cathedrals and McD, we went to get some gelato from a supposedly famous place where this Cambodian (I think) guy there working kept trying to talk to me and ask me stuff.
I got the rum something flavor and Italian chocolate (Bioche?) flavors.
We all ate our gelatos in front of this beautiful fountain and chatted.
Then continued to explore and then took the metro home.
Basically.
What a boring blog post.
Just refer to the pics and the videos :P
