And we're off... XD I love exploring and going to this monastery definitely confirmed that for me. I love the feeling of trekking off and just getting to see the local culture and sights. The climb was no joke though. Thank God it was nice and cool. Otherwise we would've boiled in the heat all the way up. As the name suggests, there are 10,000 buddhas on this mountain in all and everyone of them are different. Some of them scare the heck out of me honestly.
This was my first time getting vegetarian food at a temple. It's such a traditional thing to do but my parents never really brought me to any temples. That over there is hedgehog mushrooms and broccoli in a black bean sauce. We also got the assorted mushrooms with tofu and the coconut sago. By the time we left, our stomachs were legit bloated. It's just a shame that my phone died after this trip... All my pictures for the | Since I was born the year of the dog, this was definitely an obligatory picture. The face on that dog though... hilarious XD |
next two days were lost and I had so many pictures of food in there... sighs... oh wells.. at least I borrowed a phone from a friend so I can continue with these explorations and food adventures.
