OKay.. I admit this is a really late post and these next few posts are all going to be half a year late. I'm back in the U.S. , Boston actually, well Waltham in particular haha... but I've finally had some free time on my hands and something got me thinking about Hong Kong again and just looking back at some of my posts, I knew I had to finish my trip to Asia. So here it is ^^ for memories sake.
So my boy came to visit me in Hong Kong yay and no yay. Thinking back in retrospect, that was an amazing and miserable week. But on a totally random tangent, omagawd , I was wearing the friendship bracelets that my friends got me for leaving... (I really did love them, but they fell off my wrist without me realizing soon after...) anyways, here we are at an old fashioned HK Cafe. I tried to order the toast with stuff inside but I ordered the condensed milk by accident #somanysads. This was a total tourist trap, the service was bad and the place was a little too dirty for me...
So on we went.
We originally wanted to go to the Australian Milk Bar because we had heard great reviews but the line literally went around the block so we gave up. We went down two blocks and went to the bootleg one instead.
The milk pudding wasn't that bad but I'm just not too fond of milk pudding in general but the company was great ^^
I couldn't have asked for any one else.
I will always remember you sensei because of how welcoming you were in Hong Kong (well for more than that too ahahah of course).
Later that night....

He made me Korean food!! This was one of the sweetest things you've ever done for me. And yeah I know how you always like buying me good food but it's just not the same... I'd rather you take time, and put effort into making me something than paying for a nice night out. The feels are different. The mood is different. The environment is different. I can actually spend time with you and stare at you (not creepily) while you work. It's a warm feeling and this really made me love you even more. You cook well by the way. Thank you. So on the left is the sesame flavored tuna with seaweed on rice. There's fried spam and kimchi fried rice. XD |
Thanks for the wonderful night on that veranda. It will really be a night I won't forget ^^
